he ain't naive that's for sure. He knows exactly what he's doing. Sterling has shown his true colours.

Hmm, not sure about that interpretation tbh, bit more of a leap than my theory tbf, from the small amount of detail in the tweet anyway..

He could know exactly what he's doing, and if he does, he can still be naive for doing it.

Really? I think it's far more plausible. Your one didn't even occur to me

He's saying he does right by people who do right by him (and by extension believes others should do so too).

Everything we know about the Sterling situation suggests that the club have been good to him and he's thrown it back in their face.

Movement on Sterling deal, 3rd Bid has been placed, 40M plus addons going upto 45M, we expect this to be accepted. Liverpool however do have the hump with us as they believe we have effected the players behaviour. We have made this crystal clear it is not us but the agent effecting the player.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

City ready £45M Sterling bid (Times); should #LFC take it, or wait for £50M?

If City weren't a despotic filthy rich plaything we'd take the deal with a smile on our faces. As it happens City are filthy rich and trying to undercut us.

In no circumstance do we take that deal. If they call our bluff then Sterling stays, nothing to lose from our end. Everything to lose from City's.
                      One tit for another.

sterling staying is unthinkable for me.
if we played hardball with city and turn down 45m and say we are only talking once its 50m then city might not budge.
the only movement will then be for ST£RLING to put in his transfer request like he should have done, forfeit any bonus and wages.
we all know city and the cunt agent are in discussions so they could sort this between them, then advise sterling accordingly.
only then would 45m from city would be acceptable.

I'd take the offer, don't want him to generate a negative atmosphere at training and I want to start spending again

He's acting like a ******. The players know it, the manager knows it. Get rid - he's a bad influence.
                            Another MASSIVE game

It's not the obvious reason . Nothing about the situation lends itself to it.
You've plucked it from thin air.
