I'd imagine the other players just think Sterling's acting like a prick. I don't like Rodgers, but credit where it's due - he took a gamble on Sterling and it's paid off. Everyone can see that if nothing else Rodgers has given youth and especially Sterling a huge opportunity.

increasingly desperate measures from Raheem. Liking this at the moment, Clearly desperate to leave but we hold the aces and not getting ****ed about.

Despite Sterling’s sustained attempts to force LFC's hand, Anfield officials are adamant that he will only be sold for £50m. Sterling accepted an invitation to have dinner at Rodgers’ house in May & he's regularly spoken about his debt of gratitude to BR.(James Pearce)

Mate, its a video of them ringing him.. fairly clear they're scouse.

Its also the same guy who made the james milner song- who is known to be scouse, as he sits next to one of the guys here at the game

The little **** also needs to hand in a transfer request- he's getting no pay out from us

Even if they bid 50m I wouldn't sell him without a transfer request. He shouldn't be getting a penny from the club from any fee.

and if City won't stump up just feck him into the reserves if he won't knuckle down (I'd at least give him the chance to show he can be professional if he can't leave).

Contractually its not as cut and dried as it use to be, where you could actually do this without it being a problem

That might be true if the contract stated he is expected to be a first team player. I dont think that would of been there when he last signed. Besides there have been many players we've gotten who play for us then suddenly never again. Not on the subs bench either. Just in reserves. All the manager has to say is he doesnt think the player is at the level he expects because of whatever. Leaving him in the reserves wouldnt be a problem.
