Thanjk you.

Torres, Mascherano, Reina, Suarez & Agger.
How many players do the club let go under a cloud?
I think Liverpool - under FSG - have gone back to their way of dealing with things behind closed doors (within reason). Torres, Mascherano and Suarez, much like Sterling, wanted to leave. Agger and Reina were moved on for a number of reasons with wages being one of them.
Yes, we've had to defend ourselves publicly, but I don't think we've turned on them.
I want to disagree with myself also and the whole situation this season has turned me into a right clinical, sarcastic **** towards the club as the noises coming out the club just reeks of meh.

There have been rumblings for a while that someone at the club keeps briefing the press on contract negotiations and transfers and a lot of people lay that blame at Ayres door.

I think there are always going to be contractual leaks as agent, player and club seek to get the best deal. And all 24/7 media outlets lap it up.
But it was Sterling (or his agent) that orchestrated the unauthorised BBC interview and it's them that have set this in motion this evening too.
If anyone doubts the English tax, look no further than Luke Shaw last summer costing £30m
When you put that in context we should be asking £50m plus for Sterling, I don't think he's worth anything like that but when you see the price of other players it's probably the going rate for him
Does it really matter how they leave? Some players are better at PR than others.
I think it does matter but I'm not surprised this is how it pans out. You can accept that's the way things have become but you don't have to like it surely?
When Sterling goes the team will be the least inspiring team we've had for as long as I can remember. Apart from Coutinho there are no players to get the pulse racing. It's a good team and we'd be perennial top 6 contenders, but not challenging for anything worthwhile. We just seem to be regressing each season. I forgot about Sturridge, but how many games will he play next season?
