I think we should hold out for at least 40-50 million for him.
Either that or Jovetic and Dzeko plus cash our way.

Aidy Ward: Sterling stories blown out of proportion
TalkSport have just tweeted to say they have a statement from Raheem Sterling's agent Aidy Ward.
Here it is: "The story has been somewhat blown out of proportion. Raheem and his representatives have a meeting scheduled with Liverpool later this week, and we will take proceedings from there."

Easy to fall into the trap of believing Sterling's being driven out of Anfield by his agent. The agent is doing what the player wants.

Also easy to believe club = good guys & player = bad guy. It's more complex than that. Liverpool are an easy club for good players to leave.

Agents smell vulnerability at clubs, it's part of their job. Right now, Liverpool's vulnerability (and mediocrity) is there for all to see.
Not liking those tweets by Barrett. "Easy club for good players to leave"
Ridiculous quote from Barrett. He should explain what that means. It's easy for anyone to drop hints like that with nothing to back it up...
Sterling is a good player and a good talent, but he is nothing more than that. After being on/off for a season now, I hardly think he's in the best negotiation point towards contracts. If he wants more money and CL football, then perhaps he should start producing more himself. He's as big a part in the teams let down this season as anyone, and considering he's been the main striker for many games this year and still fails to finish first in the goalscoring charts says a lot.
I will manage a shrug for him, but that's about it.
But Barrett says in his article there is no offer for Sterling. Make your mind up pal.
I asked him on Twitter and he said "bids are being prepared" - which sounds ridiculous but it's how it works and selling clubs usually know when a bid is "being prepared" or is incoming.

Is there any way that this could really be about quality of playing staff and Sterling basically "saying improve the quality of players so that we win trophies or I'm off"?
