He runs like a bird anyway. Sell him to city or get a couple of players off them. He won't be missed IMO. He looked better last season due to defenders concentrating on Suarez & Sturridge which allowed him more time and space. He's been ****ing crap this season when defenders have hot onto him.

One thing that is worrying though is this is another player the club has turned on in the media. FSG better get their wallet out in the summer. I'm starting to worry about the direction they are taking the club on the football side of things.

We will blame their treacherous agents, the inherent evilness of the player and probably foreign chairmen/bad guys.

We won't blame the club's lack of ambition, or see this as a clearly established pattern which exposes us as the feeder club we have become.

My daughter's team trains at Sterling's old high school. There are photos of him everywhere! It's a pity it has come to this, he's a good young player and should be an inspiration for other kids. As it turns out he's a greedy get. I don't blame footballers for maximising their earnings, but we were a good fit for him - he'd get fantastic wages and he'd play regularly for us.

Wasn't it only a few months ago that Ayre was gloating about this revolutionary incentive based contract system which LFC have developed. The Henderson and Sterling saga started pronto. The only thing the club has become really good at is winning the PR war and getting the fans on their side in such sagas. I guess practice is making them perfect at that.

Sterling has been a greedy ill advised ****. Truth is almost all talented modern players are that way. They will find creative ways to not be at Anfield if we don't perform at the highest level. Everything about our club starting from Ayre down to coaching screams meh at the moment. Unless that changes and we start competing at the highest level, we can expect more and more of this.
