Mad how different groups see different things. I don't think he's irreplaceable like Suarez, if we get a good fee (and who's to say LFC haven't been pushing that way anyway, lets not be naive) we could buy a striker and sort out the defence.

FSG get a big fee, look like they're spending again on the necessities whereas in reality all they're doing is maintaining a low outlay by selling assets big to address other weaknesses in the squad, they're not stupid.

Judging by last three summers transfer windows, I have zero confidence of this happening.

Yeah well that's pretty much the view. Keep selling those worth the most so you don't have to put your hand in your pocket. It's just that selling those worth the most usually means your losing the best ones you have.

We apparently have the best media head in the business and a view expressed was there's no way the club didn't know that was happening. It suited them to let it.

He runs like a bird anyway. Sell him to city or get a couple of players off them. He won't be missed IMO. He looked better last season due to defenders concentrating on Suarez & Sturridge which allowed him more time and space. He's been ****ing crap this season when defenders have hot onto him.

One thing that is worrying though is this is another player the club has turned on in the media. FSG better get their wallet out in the summer. I'm starting to worry about the direction they are taking the club on the football side of things.
