It's easy to buy into the idea that our stock is rapidly devaluing AC Milan style.

Who is our talisman next season, the player(s) to capture the imagination and be the rock of the team? We need a Vidal or someone like that to bark, direct and lead the team. I don't think Henderson is that person but he may discover something along those lines in the next few.

We need to either fail gloriously or succeed recklessly. Last season was the former, this season was neither.

I agree with you but we have to assume that other clubs see this as a failing of the team not providing the options rather than individual lacking.

If it's the former then we're quids in

We shouldn't go anywhere near the lad, as talented as he is. We cannot afford to buy anymore injury prone players.

I wouldnt touch Walcott with a bargepole

What do we want him for to keep Sturridge company in the treatment room?

Really I would despair at the policy of our club if we went for him

                  That reads a tad petty.

That's the stage we're at tbh now.

It's a cluster**** isn't it. I don't think the club are handling things particularly well - it's one saga after another and most of it boils down to how **** we are - and Aidy Ward is a cunt and Sterling hasn't covered himself in glory either. Total mess.

Thing is the truth maybe that there's nothing the club can do, he wants out, for whatever reason, maybe not money, and tbh he has that right, however much we may not like it, and i don't.

We as a club have the right to say no, but that's a financial issue.

I long ago lost the will to hate or dislike players for wanting to move to a club with better prospects, probably in an area they prefer, we as a club need to find an answer to this conundrum, i suspect that being winners with a clear commitment to sign quality will help.

If he goes to London he will disappear up his own arsehole

I really hope we cash in

Aye but he wants to go cos we're **** - cos we sell our best players, replace them with muck and don't get in the CL. So it can mostly be traced back to **** decisions made by the club.
