Sterling and his mofo Agent two of the dumbest idiots in football

We should sue the little runt for loss of income! If that were achievable...

Just set Carra loose on him. He'd rag doll the little **** around the streets of Liverpool until he was pleading for mercy.

        The little ****.

£40m was a very fair offer for Sterling IMO, we should've taken it then and moved on instead of dragging this **** out.

Um...buying out his contract (if possible?) would net the club £35,000 * 52 * 2, or a smidge over £3.5mil ... if this was an option, I think Sterling would have done it already (with the help of his prospective new club).

              Or am I missing something?

Withdrawal of service means withdrawal of salary. Its all there in the contract. Can't see him living off his brand name (oh how well he's done with that).

If City want to play games we should just offer him for £20m to any club that's not a direct rival for top 4. Which means clubs outside of the top 8. Make a statement to Sterling, agents in general and specially City. If Sterling accepts he can feck off for less money than he thought. If not then shut up and train or shut up and sit there not getting paid.

City can just feck off in general. They ain't getting their Englishman.

Possibly but where would the fun be in that? The agent and sterling would then have won. I'd prefer to make a statement by playing hardball, even if that means me can't bring a striker in since we know its Benteke or nowt.

I get that, but I'd rather have him out of the club asap for a fair offer, so we have more time to bed in new players, including a new striker.

Time will tell though, if we end up with another £10m to spend then they've played it well.

i wonder that now berahino has binned his agent will city have second thoughts about bringing in sterling and the dog turd smell that will be on him.
maybe sterling and his agent have had private chats with city [tapping, but it is obviously going on all the time] and they reckon its a done deal [subject to price] but the stink seems to be getting stronger.
if this pressure is from city then they will then be ok with it, but if its sterling /agent driven then maybe city will reconsider.

berahino would give us much more end product than sterling. he can play wide [with sturridge or another main man] or in the middle.

Obvious tactic from Sterling and his agent - his relationship with Brendan hasn't broken down at all, it's just the only way they can think of lowering his price by making clear he won't play here next year.

Since the City deal has been lined up all along it would be very interesting if another club came in with £40-45m in the next week or so. If any other clubs are interested that is.

Interesting the way sport's going though. It used to be all about the adulation and the medals, then money came along and it was still about the former but you knew you'd be set up for life if you were any good. Now there's a new breed emerging e.g. Mayweather, Ashley Cole, Sterling etc. who don't care about having a **** reputation as a human being for the rest of their lives as long as they make as much money as possible as quickly as possible.

It's beyond ridiculous isn't it, he looks ready to cry. If he is so ****ing frustrated then why has he still not tendered a transfer request?

I love how the papers use words like 'toxic' and 'no way back', when i know damn well that if Sterling had a change of heart, sacked his agent and stayed and played well, 95% of us would be happy and forgive, shift the blame heaped on him and move on..

                                Remember all this ....
In interviews with The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph, the Uruguay striker revealed all regarding the situation with Liverpool, and how he is prepared to submit a transfer request by the end of the week if the club continue to block his move to Arsenal. He also stated that he is willing to take the case to the Premier League and already has the backing of the Professional Footballer’s Association.

So in basic terms, he has burnt all bridges with Liverpool Football Club.
Must have been one bridge still standing.
