I don't doubt his ability for his age, his potential to improve surrounded by better players is another thing, just can't be sure how good he'll get, or whether he'll improve sufficient to be called one of the worlds greats in time, so i think 35mill at his age is a fair commitment for a club gambling on his future potential.

Needless to say i'll be happy with any extra we can get, if City are willing to gamble further.

If he knows he's off, and the club knows he's off, then I don't see the problem with him staying here.

Makes the club look bad yet again in my opinion ... undermines the club, essentially he is saying i am bigger than Liverpool Football Club, I dont give a **** about how you have helped my career or how my actions could or couild not damage the club .. I only care about what I want to hell with everything else ... great little player ... but the writing was on the wall when his Mum was yapping to the press a couple of years ago .. give my son more money .. give him more playing time ... bla bla .. I am over it ..

He stays fine .. he goes good riddance

Then why bother attending pre-season training!avoid injuring yourself etc stay the **** away from the club,he's a dimwit and unable to think for himself, advised by an idiot of an agent, and will in a few years time look to his agent to engineer another transfer.

Clubs use players and players use Clubs. He's not showing a great attitude of late, but the sooner we start expecting nothing (in the form of loyalty) from the modern day player the better.

They are what we've made them.

Ok fair enough i missed that, but i can't help thinking he must have been given that tag by someone/some site that knows sod all about football, or some stupid list of fictional player values!.

I actually think that 35mill would be more than fair for where he's at now, if, and a big if, we didn't have to give Qpr a chunk, but i think that's about his value right now.

I don't hold with the saying that a player is worth what a club is willing to pay, not at all, see AC!
It was best young talent, under-21.

He still needs to keep in shape. If City make an increased offer, matching our demands (as he's probably been informed), then what's the point in him jetting off around the World, only to have to fly back? He'll have been kept up to date on the City situation.

he can go to a gym and train on his own, also Liverpool & city will be of on tour in Australia it will be easier for him i'm sure to link up there and conclude his move, but him being a thick idiot along with his agent they probably aren't aware of this.

He's not off until someone meets the asking price or he hands in a transfer request.

Until then he's expected to carry on as a Liverpool player.

Raheem Sterling failed to attend training this morning after phoning in sick. Liverpool are refusing to comment on his absence.

Oh dear, he's making a show of himself now. Get the club doc to assess him, if theres nothing wrong then fine him as much as possible.

**** sake. His reputation is irrelevant, this time year when he's playing for City no-one is going to remember this drama.

Look at Luis last summer, everyone made a big deal about his ban and how we would be mad not to sell him. Look how that turned out, as if anyone even remembers the fact he was banned for 4 months
