I think Sterling and his agent conceded the PR war a while back.

It's all about getting what he wants by whatever means now. He clearly doesn't give a **** about how he looks.

In the BBC interview he never mentioned anything about Rodgers he just said it wasnt about money (which it is)

If it wasnt about money he'd have handed in a transfer request (which it appears he hasnt)

I think Sterling will continue to flail around looking for angles to force a move, I ****ing hope we stand firm until him and City blink

I think this shows a whiff of desperation about Sterling and his agents tactics, the calmer the club is the more desperate they will become and the more mistakes they will make

They are making a lot of mistakes at the minute
he want's a move so badly he should show it's not about money and buy out his contract,he's damaged his reputation now only thing he can do is show if he really has talent at City, which is still questionable

What a little ****e. He's obviously been made aware City are about to bid again and it's gonna be lower than £50m, my guess is less than £45m and they think these antics will make us sell.

We probably will but he needs to slap in a transfer request. In the meantime make him train with the kids or withhold wages. Don't want him on tour the ****er.

will cost him too much, but it ain't abaht the moneee!

My worry is that the Sterling money is hampering us from spending on a striker. If we were cash rich, sure we could get all our business done & keep Sterling hanging on right to the wire...force his hand. Maybe we need the Sterling money to fund bringing in others?

He will definitely go, he's gone too far now to build bridges IMO. I don't give a **** if he's young... he has came across pretty horribly since this saga started. City will 100% pay the fee we want & IMO we know it. Sterling can pull all the stunts he wants, we should just sit tight and wait for City to eventually pay what we want.

if Liverpool set a price they will probably stick with it.

It seems that Citeh need English and if they want sterling that much they will pay. Question is Do they want him that much? I think this will drag on until late August.

He's good but is he really that good?

Not sure. I think he's been offered loads of cash up front and a nice salary and his head has been completely turned.

If we manage to get 50m for him the owners will be licking their lips.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

That and for the transfer request. No deal without a transfer request IMO.

                        ****ing hell.
Sterling and Ward couldn't have handled this any worse had they tried.

What's left for Sterling to blame now? next it will be I don't like playing for the lfc fans, they are being nasty towards me.

The football club are handling this brilliantly, say nothing, little snippets to the Echo about the fee we want and leave it at that.

As Lec has said, formal transfer request, a letter from Ward forgoing any outstanding agent payments and £50 mill or he stays.
Someone should send him the link to the U21 fixtures.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Absolutely. But him and his agent are brazenly not doing that because it'd mean less money for them. They'd rather resort to this **** we're seeing from them.

Of course but I think desperation has set in for them

We seem to be acting very calm almost to the point of ignoring them

I think they will panic soon, they dont have many other options

They can only cry wolf so many times to the media before uninterest in their situation develops
