What is abundantly clear is that Ward/Sterling knew of the City interest and the deal on the table for both of them before the BBC interview.
Since then it's just been one tactic after another trying to force Liverpool into selling.
Obviously the longer it's gone on and the longer we stick to our stance of £50m or staying the more desperate Ward has become.
Imagine being told by City we'll pay you £10 million if you ensure we sign Sterling only got JWH to call his bluff.
The main thing most of the press are missing is the FSG don't give 2 ****s about Sterling the person, he's an employee/asset with a value fixed against him.
They've done the maths, all these different tactics from them won't work and no amount of media rhetoric will change that.
In fact the worse Sterling behaves the less likely the club are to sell him purely because it sets a precedent, just like making Suarez train on his own did a couple of years ago.
If we sell now for anything less that the stated £50m everyone will know the spoilt brat / bully boy tactics of Sterling and his agent got what they wanted and we'll have a player every season trying something similar.
They've got more chance of getting their move if Ward came in, apologised and negotiated a new deal with a buy out clause for English and European clubs. The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

If you asked me who I would back in a multi million pound negotiation a trumped up sports agent or one of the most prolific hedge fund managers in the finance industry ... Aidy does not stand a chance ... say what you want about FSG one thing is sure .. when it comes to money ... 9 times out of ten .. their people will be the smartest people in the room ...Originally posted by The Birdman View PostWhat is abundantly clear is that Ward/Sterling knew of the City interest and the deal on the table for both of them before the BBC interview.

Honestly I think football clubs would be very wise to push back collectively against destructive agents like Aidy Ward .. if a small handful of powerful club chairmens essentially put the word out ...we will not do business with Aidy Ward ... he would be tomorrows fish and chips paperAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Agree with Lec in that it's easily sorted, just hand in a transfer request. He won't do that though for obvious reasons.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I'd love to see it burnt down - smoke the prick out.
I really hope LFC take a stand on this - £50m and a transfer request by the rat-faced ****. Not a penny less and if he still ****s about, ruin the pricks career, make him miss the euros and then some.
****in arsehole....Felching ≠ Gerbilling
