Happy to see him play EXACTLY like he did for us. Lots of pace to scare defenders and not a clue how to use it against a tight defence. When presented with one open goal opportunity = miss.

Sterling was a good player for us and was key to the run we had when coming 2nd along with Suarez and Sturridige.

Some might not like it but he's a good player and has done fairly well for City since leaving, will he be the £50M player they spent for his potential, no idea but he's a very good young footballer.

For sure he's light years better than LaTellec but the argument is correct that Sterling displayed games where he'd **** up the finishing touch regularly which is showed last night.

I've been saying he's over rated all along

I don't think he'll ever get a consistent good shot on him. It just doesn't seem like it's in him. Bit of a downside is that.

Price we got for him was fantastic. Though I'd have kept him at anything less just in case, rest of his game can be great when he's in the mood.
