I think his point is that the chaos of the last few years has had an impact on players and staff. Which seems pretty undeniable. I get the impression that if he felt that it was professionally viable he would have stayed with us. We have to accept that our stock as a place to be for a top level footballer (or coach/manager) has gone down in recent years and we need to rebuild that.

I get what you are saying mate but regardless of the mess we were in and the work we are doing to rebuild everything there is no chance that 20-30 players left us to improve themselves which is what his quote says. There might be 3-4 players tops that wanted to leave and even then I would say the only solid example would be Mascherano as Alonso was pretty much pushed and the majority of the players leaving us were not because of the situation at the club most were shipped because they weren't good enough, it's not like we were galacticos 2 years ago. Only a small handful of players were better than the state we were in and it's his bull**** reasoning for running away from our club in to the arms of the first suiter.

Our stock isn't where Chelsea's is right now BUT does it need saying? Does he have to go to the media every 5 minutes banging on about what a mess we are/were in? Its a great post by the chav because its what we all want to hear.

Its way too early to be calling Torres Sheva Mk II, dont get me wrong, I desperately want him to be **** forever more, I just cant see it happening. Maybe the lad is unhappy and if so then he does need to do whatever it takes to become happy again, after all he only has 1 life and even if your minted & idolised you still want happiness.

Im past the hatred & sincerely wish Torres all the best.

I am past the hatred as I am convinced we got a better deal 2 hungry players who could be worlld class......for 1 world cup player who hasnt shown his best for two years, But i do hope he continues his downward spiral in all he does
