Like it or not 102 league games & 65 goals does not happen for someone who's not a great finisher!

He was an exceptional finisher.

i think spain beckons in jan; but i would carry him back to anfield if there was even a hint that we coul re-sign him; my god him, luis, gerrard, bellamy, kuyt all running at you.......... would be a sight to behold. Just remmber everyone was begging Owen (judas) to re-sign for us from Real, but he didn't have the ballls for it, i think Torres would & i also think Chelsea would bite our hand off if we offered £££. I think he'll see the season out at Chelsea. But I can see him moving in the summer or January 2013. I don't think he'll be there any longer than that, unless he starts scoring a ****load of goals. And quickly.

It does if he's getting a lot of chances made for him. In a one on one with a keeper, I'd never have put my house on him to bury it, in the way I'd have done with Owen or Fowler.

Owen missed loads of one on ones - saying Torres was never a great finisher is akin to saying you never watched him play, he was sublime.
