Long may his ****tiness continue, however given our own disappointment today (well technically yesterday) I also find it hard to enjoy his demise as much as I normally would.

He had something very very special at Liverpool and maybe now he might be realising it.

Let's hope this puts Suarez off any future move.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Fernando Torres was only a substitute yesterday as his Chelsea team mates secured a 2-1 win at Sunderland. With one goal in 21 appearances it appears as though his manager Andre Villas-Boas is beginning to lose patience and there is a rumour doing the rounds amongst the Spanish media suggesting Torres could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Sensational as it may seem it does make some sense especially when the rumour goes on to say that Tottenham could be his next club. Luka Modric in exchange for Torres. How about that for a bit of business?

You may think it sounds stupid, but SkyBet have already opened a book on Torres and who his next club will be after the January transfer window. They do not actually have a price available on Tottenham so that should tell you everything about that rumour, but they do have prices available for other clubs.

Atletico Madrid top the list at odds of 5/1 (6.0), and a move back to where it all began for El Nino could be feasible.

The same price of 5/1 (6.0) is available for a move to Malaga, with Real Madrid coming next at a decent price of 7/1 (8.0). There are two other teams on the list from SkyBet, and yes you’ve guessed it Barcelona are one of those teams. They are 16/1 (17.0) to be Torres’ next club and Villarreal are on offer at a massive price of 25/1 (26.0).

It may only be speculation, but it has been taken seriously enough by SkyBet to open a book on it. If Torres continues to struggle over the next few months it will be very interesting to look at those prices again, especially if his replacement yesterday Daniel Sturridge continues to find the back of the net.

A January move (sale, not loan) would be the ****ing funniest thing ever in the history of football.

A move to a mid-table side overseas and the demise will be complete

Sadly though, I think there'll be plenty of takers and one of those may well be Arsenal or Spurs. He's got a lot to prove and I'd rather he stayed where he is than risk seeing him rediscover his form at one of our rivals
