It'll never happen and I agree he'll never hit the incredible heights he hit with us between 07-09, but if he did return there's not a Red in the world who wouldn't be creaming their pants at the prospect of him & Suarez together. We need a finisher and although his confidence and appetite is at rock bottom at the moment, you don't lose what he had. You can lose pace, hunger and belief but not that.

Has Torres ever looked good with another forward beside him? Played up top alone at Athletico, best stuff up top alone for us. Disappointing with Drogba & Villa.

Suarez doesn't play that way though. He does drop deep or go out wide but he also stays upfront often. Don't think it'd work even if we could turn back time.

Mata & Torres would be a better fit.

Suarez with the Torres of a couple of years ago would have been almost unplayable, if it was the Torres at Chelsea it would be no different from the situation we have at present.
