Lawrenson made a good point on 5live last night.
He said the whole Terry not joining in thing is a load of guff about nothing. Media driven bollocks. He said that when the team scored him and Hansen didn't even move. They wanted to save there legs instead of bombing 80yards up the pitch, then 80 yards to get back into position.
He's not wrong either. Load of **** about nothing at all. Im surprised some of you guys even pick up on it. Who cares how a team celebrates?*Except Michael, who died.

So Terry never ever runs to celebrate goals, to save his legs, is that Lawrensons point ?Originally posted by Alex View PostLawrenson made a good point on 5live last night.

Because if he does it sometimes, his point does'nt really hold water.

No his point is was, that he didn't run to celebrate goals. So what's the big deal in pointing out when Terry doesn't. His reason for not doing it was his reason. He wasn't saying that, that was the reason Terry didn't. It was more a comment on it all being a storm in a tea cup.*Except Michael, who died.

What a preposterous discussion..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

We relied on him so, so much, and we simply have not come close to replacing him.
Suarez has very done well, but he does not single handedly win us games from nothing anywhere near as often as Torres did.
If it weren't for Torres in the past 3-4 years, we would have been a similar team to the one we see today imo in that period.Oh I don't know.

When Nando was here his team mates were a young Gerrard, Xabi, Masch, Benny, Riera, Crouch and a prime Dirk Kuyt.Originally posted by dom9 View PostWe relied on him so, so much, and we simply have not come close to replacing him.

Suarez is playing alongside Carroll, Downing, Henderson, Adam and a shot Dirk Kuyt. Bizarrely Luis has been here a year and yet him and Stevie have barely been on the pitch together.

It's depressing comparing the two sets of playersOriginally posted by ~LFCHistory~ View PostWhen Nando was here his team mates were a young Gerrard, Xabi, Masch, Benny, Riera, Crouch and a prime Dirk Kuyt.
