2 goals 2 assists. Looked confident. Needs to back it up with a few performances and goals against better opposition to silence the doubters.

Yes, it was 2 goals and 2 assists, but the keeper was *awful* - he should have saved Torres' header and Meireles weak 'shot' and Torres of old would have been driving at goal to complete his hat-trick anyway. As for the first, he really did need one to come off his arse or his back ... or in this instance his heel via the ground.
I hope he leaves England this summer with another year under his belt without a domestic medal.Comment
