Yeah it must have hurt not even getting on the pitch in the FA cup final but he played almost no part in the CL win and was on the bench in what only a few seasons ago he would have been the first name on the team sheet along with Gerrard. He is a bit part player at Chelsea and he knows it.
Him and Suarez would have thrived together IMO and we would be further up the table as well.

I found Fernando Torres troubled, wounded. Nobody wants to hear this, but he is a young man under lots of pressure. The rest in my web later

Based on those quotes I'd say he must see moving there as the biggest mistake he's ever made. Yes he's got an FA Cup and Champions League winning medal, which is incredible, but you can tell how much they mean to him. Nothing. He knows he did very little to earn them. He'd be back here in a flash if he got half a chance of it IMO.
His face in the penalty shootout said it all to me, he looked a mixture of furious and completely disconsolate. I'll be amazed if he's still at Chelsea next season. I think the only way he'll stay is if the new manager that comes in tells him he's going to be their main striker next year, but I think that's unlikely, his form just isn't up to it.
I can't see it ever happening, but for what it's worth if we could get him back at a real bargain price I'd take him back. That may be more of an emotional response rather than an analytical one though
Rafa and Torres back by the start of the season anyone?
