milner doesnt make me say wow, but if if you look at his effort when he comes onto the pitch you can see how he changes a game.
you kind of reluctantly come to realise that a team of milners would be hard working selfless dull ****s who will not hide and be ready to give their all.
less flash but genuine graft. yorkshire born, yorkshire bred, etc.

does he just look good because he is surrounded by mostly world class team mates though

The point is that it's the same type of transfer in so far it shows the club's lack of ambition. It's Hodgson-esque, in my opinion.

But if you want to be pedantic; they are both wingers/attacking midfielders, so not a ****ing million miles apart either.

The best compliment i can give james boring milner is that every team needs a player like him.

It's not like he's not getting any games.

I like him, he's an improvement on Allen which is a plus and he's very versatile. Good player to have around.

As for why City are letting him go, they've no choice, he won't sign a new contract so can leave in the summer for nowt.
