Now has medals for Champions League to go with the League, FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield ones he'd picked up on his way to us.
Not a bad career!
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Also I've not seen it mentioned but Klopp gave him alot of credit in the post match interview for his pre match talks and how much that had helped him as a non-native speaking manager. I know there has been talk of him wanting to make a return to Leeds at some point, but I wonder if Klopp is lining him up for a coaching role, he seems like he'd be the type.

Yeah......he seemed very much focused on continuing to push for more success for us in all his interviews post-match. Or at least, that's the impression I took from it.
The Leeds thing seems to have fallen away - staying down has probably ended it.

He's still got a good few years of playing in him, he's a machine.
I'm not suggesting now, I mean in a few years time.
