Jaysis didn't think my first post was that bad ffs... saying i'm not sure what he does & what his role is ins't exactly writing him off is it? Sure didn't Kenny even said he had no idea what was Jordan Henderson's best position and he was the manager

He was clearly over played in his first season and looked only a squaddie. He did look very average and lacking confidence.. very much doubt i was alone in saying he looked pretty poor/timid & thats games past him by.

I have no problem with changing my opinion over time and if he performs on a consistent basis. Credit where it is due, and he seems a different player without Stevie's shadow there & seems a lot less inhibited in his play. Brilliant for him and for us.

To be fair mate if I remember, the post was made before they played much, and it was more in reference to how they played on the pitch. Not really about ability.

If you look back I have always quite highly rated Henderson.

Played a key role in all of our goals today. The lad is shackled by Gerrard, which is a shame.

2 Top notch assists and thru ball that led to Sterling Goal were highlights but he truly controlled the midfield for us.

His tracking back and pressing is first class.
