Henderson will be fit. And about Spurs being more powerful than us in midfield, I'm not sure they'll overrun us because of that. I think we're better technically than them in that department.Originally posted by john316 View PostChange of shape potentially if Hendo/Gerrard are both out. Power of those Spurs central midfielders vs Allen/Lucas looks a complete mismatch. Just who could fill in for Hendo though potentially looks a real problem. Are we winning?

Rodgers won't pack the midfield to counteract Spurs. That's just not his style. I mean, he's never adapted our formation to how the opposition play up to now. It's about how well we pass the ball on the day. Spurs will be pressing high up the pitch, so how well we cope with that will be key.Originally posted by john316 View PostThey could massively just overpower us and stop us gaining any possession. Already short of stature so seeing Dembele/Sandro/Paulinho vs what we have left looks a big problem for me.Are we winning?

If Spurs play with 1 up front then we'll lose a midfield battle with an extra CB surely. If it's about the personnel available then it's more likely to be 4-2-3-1 with Allen and Lucas both laying deep. Gerrard won't be missed as much now that Coutinho has his eye in again, I think we'll play Moses and Sterling either side of him as both are prepared to come back and defend

i have been reluctant to gush but this lad has come good. hope it isnt a flash.
funny how gerald being missing then allows others to show their worth as they dont feel obliged to give him the ball all the time, so they can take it on themselves to do something.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
