I deffo feel like Jordan has actually got some match fitness now and got over his foot injuries which seems to have made him back to his old self

Only niggle for me is his negative play at times turning backwards instead of being on the turn and pushing us forwards , would love him to show that more often.

Definitely think he missed Wijnaldum against united as they have seemed to picked up an understanding pretty well.

A few have questioned Gini's role & what he contributes but when he's missing it tells.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Think we should remember he's playing as the #6 now which means he HAS to be the most responsible midfielder, in position and out. He's bound to play more conservatively.

In other games he’s had more final third passes than most attacking midfielders and created a few chances. Mountain out of a molehill. Not to mention most people were actually calling for a proper DM to play in his position, so to criticise him for playing like most DM’s would in a difficult game is a bit harsh.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'm sensing a mounting disapproval for Jordan and its totally uncalled for - if he played for anyone else we'd be saying he would fit a Klopp team perfectly. Technique? Bucketloads. Athleticism? Huge. Attitude? You never get anyone working harder than him.

He's doing the defensive midfield job just now and is taking to it. To have people questioning what he's producing is a bit daft really. He's adding to his game just now, and I think he's doing a good job at it too.

People are idiots . Him and Gini take turns getting forward when they both play so they have to have discipline when the other is gone. The other night Can was clearly the most advanced when we had the ball so Hendo had to sit and do a job which he did very well.

By passing backwards he gave Utd nothing, not a sniff of a slip/slip up which they could counter. His 'safe' play is as much to do with Utd's possession stats, corners stats and goals on target than anything else in the game.

It just looked bad on TV, and probably in the ground, because of emotions and his turns backward were very unnatural unlike a Mikel or Wanyama. But that's only because its not his natural movement which is looking for openings up front. Got to applaud him not getting caught up in all that.

My niggle was a little more bravado on the ball when he receives it and he could of been the game changer against united by taking there cloggers out of the game in an instant.

Matip did it twice brilliantly bringing the ball out with purpose and threading it thru to Can once which nearly resulted in a goal except for De Gea's brilliance.

FFS lads nobody is saying he should be bursting forward, getting assists & scoring goals but DM/HM can and are allowed to pass the ball forward. It's one of the things I like about Lucas, his quick snappy passes through the midfield, Matip did it a few times as gratziani mentioned and it's pushed the whole game forward. A lot of times Hendo won't be able to pass the ball forward but hopefully when he grows into the role and gets more confidence, he will look to play it through the midfield and wide areas.

We are nervy on the ball defensively and both of our keepers are pretty poor on the in possession too. Playing the ball back to the defence or keeper against any pressing sides brings unnecessary pressure IMO.

He's doing well there nobody is suggesting otherwise

It's cool, Kloppo calls him it. Pretty sure Millie does too.
