Using him sparingly now is really key to our success. I think Jurgen has a bigger headache having to leave him out than selecting him...

But it is necessary as he's clearly struggling to play every minute

I guess sparingly implies less than 50% of available time where as managing minutes means more than but not all. Interestingly, he's played less than 50% of CL minutes since the group stages but plays far more in the PL than I'd thought

Worse, the Nations League is happening. 4 games in 10 days in June. More in September. And then a World Cup in Nov/Dec.

That surprised me to read and then upon checking it seems that Jota is our player with the next highest amount of appearances with 48 run outs, which also surprised me.


Alisson is our player with the most starts (47) with VVD in second place (46) Henderson has 39 starts and Jota has 35
