Turned out to be a disastrous move all round for Hendo

Needs to be aiming lower. He'd be mad not to see out his days at Sunderland, especially now that his family are going to be living on the breadline

Silly ****er. Trashed his legacy for this and he’s realised. Such a shame how he left us.
        *Except Michael, who died.

Absolutely he's destroyed his own reputation ...but I'd take Firmino back

What about him and Fabinho on a 6 month loan?

Yep. That's why a rebuild and lots of community focused work back at Sunderland, coupled with being close to his family, will be the only option left to create a new legacy

There's better options out there and it sends a terrible message to our current squad

Bobby yes,Fabinho? not sure but with injuries/afcon/asian cup and an increase in games it's always good to have options

Apologies to Bloodraven, I misread it and thought he meant Hendo and Fabinho. I'd take Firmino back short term, and possibly Fabinho as cover for Endo

Not sure why anyone would think Firmino now would add anything to the squad.

Club let him go on a free without fuss like Ox, Milner and Keita. Even when fit last season he didn't start many games.

He was great but that's in the past.

As for Hendo. Oh dear. Maybe Sheffield Utd, Burnley, Luton or one of those types of teams might be desperate enough to consider him.
                          Oh I don't know.

I'm not sure Hendo adds anything at PL levels, he'd not have the impact of a Barkley as he was drilled to carry out a role for years, and if that role doesn't exist he'd struggle.

Firmino is a different entity, IMO. He's a creative player who raises the game of all those around him, with other features to his game

                              He definitely did.
