Looking forward to Henderson's final interview during which he looks at the camera and says

"Thanks for that, Alex. You were a great mod. See you mate."

I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Thanks Jordan you were a great captain. Bye mate.

He must be aware of the general sniping at him, he probably knows that if he did turn it down it wouldn't change fans opinions of him

Criticised for leaving. If he changes his mind, those same ‘fans’ will criticise him for staying. State of Liverpool fans these days

This ****show, and the public bull**** during his contract renewal, makes me think his advisors are dicks, but he’s also bright enough to know what’s going on. Makes the whol mr nice guy shtick seem like a contrivance.

Why are we selling him to these fake Saudi's then.

Can offer him 700k a week, but cant pay the 20m for a transfer. Farrrkooooorrrrffff

**** him off to one of the rich mob instead so we can get a decent fee.

The Chairman of the club is a huge LFC fan, he posts pictures of himself at Anfield all the time. Nobody else would be stupid enough to go after Gerrard and Henderson to be fair

He needs no other talents as he has made it in life.

I suggest you go and watch the documentary called Zoolander so that you can educate yourself on why incredibly handsome people are so important and then ask yourself what you ugly people can do to stop showing such discrimination and prejudice towards beautiful people.

And then Zoolander 2, of course

                          It is true though.

If Henderson does leave, his biggest critics will be those who would have happily gave him away for free a few weeks ago and hilariously 'driven him to the airport' themselves. These new human rights campaigners will be outraged by his decision to go there.

The only thing that could possibly upset them more, is if the deal falls through and he ends up staying, like Rigadon says. Will be pretty funny though.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

They are not counter positions involving hypocrisy. Firstly, this is all of his making, whatever the ultimate outcome. He is the club captain and has a very lucrative contract with LFC and he intends to end it. He’s currently being criticised for trying to leave his contract with us agains the wishes of the club to join a sport washing project for financial gain (prick). If it doesn’t happen because his chosen destination are unable to afford the modest fee, he will be criticised for having instigated and unviable transfer and undermining his own position going forward with fans, the club and teammates (prick). Both perfectly valid criticisms.

And it’s not just his ‘haters’ that will be critical of the outcome. And the only thing funny about him unilaterally undermining the clubs plans will be the unnecessary self inflicted damage to his legacy with the club and its fan base.

Or, the club have told him his game time is likely to be reduced this year, given the signings we've made; and he has decided he would like to play as much as possible because he doesn't have much of a career left

Nah, can't be true. Burn shirts
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet
