I just the post match interview where he got stuck into the media. Claims Ajax were the ones negotiating to get rid of him & other top earners cause they’re broke & it wasn’t him trying to engineer a move away. No one from the Club has made an announcement

Edit answer to Mark79: Nah it’s all about Ajax and he calls the Journos out to their faces, which they do not like at all. He doesn’t mention Liverpool at all. He is pretty direct in everything he says and even goes back to some of the repeated questions.

Comes across as if he went home and his missus was like ‘so we are moving to Monaco are we’?

He was a bit evasive though about "the details".

It does sound like they wanted to sell him, but couldnt agree a fee. Sounded like he was up for it, but it fell through. Whether he was upset. Its not like he can get stoned, so I can see the attraction of Monaco.

I thought a lot of the **** about him was a bit unfair in the past. Not seeing a massive difference between him and Salah trying to squeeze every penny, apart from talent.

I think he is shot as a player anyway. HE was awful in his last year for us.

Can’t help but think the Club have asked him to take a pay cut to stay or they’d look to sell him to which he’d have replied a contract is a contract so no.
