Brendan Rodgers handling of our youngsters is almost perfect. He is scarily good at knowing when to introduce and when to shield youngsters.

Lallana should still get a good amount of game time with us being competitive on three fronts.

I keep saying it but Ibe 19, Sterling 20, Markovic 20, Can 21, Coutinho 22.
Plus Origi and Ojo next season. And if Wisdom and Ilori can come good in defense, we really only need to spend big on 2-3 youngish signings to have a really really awesome squad.

I feel Moreno keeps his place on the left while Sterling is still best in the #10 role. With Ibe now a threat coming from the right, it means we have a stronger bench from which we can call on the likes of Markovic and Lallana.

Settled in remarkably well, he's a starter now in my eyes, its his place to lose.

Breath of fresh air and yet another player the opposition have to focus on or they'll be punished.

I'm just shocked by how much confidence he has.

No nerves whatsoever, straight in there. The balls on this lad.

It didn't, is the short answer.

The reserve league is also known as The Under 21 Developmental League but is not restricted to players under 21

On the BT Sport commentary tonight they mentioned youngsters have to go out on loan these days to gain match experience (like Ibe did) as there is no reserve team football anymore.

Why is that and when did it stop?

He was directly responsible for two goals. First the Sturridge penalty, Sturridge got more space to jink around because Rose and the left mid were tight on Ibe.

Then the oceans of space Lallana got because they were so busy on Ibe.

    Raheem who?

There were a couple of times when Spurs had two players standing off him, so afraid were they of his pace.
