The problem with players like Ibe is that, unless they become first team star players almost immediately, they won't get the time / chance to work their way in. It's just the way the league is now, we need results fast. We need to see players progressing fast, too.
Bournemouth is a good move for Ibe and I wish him well (should he move).
It's a shame that we are quick to chuck abuse at players who aren't quite cutting it and probably won't make the level we need them to.

There is no way Ibe was ever better than Sterling... That was wish fulfillment. He was bigger and faster, but the close control was not there... not seen enough of Ojo tbh.

Without having a dig at you Mike. I do wonder how you and others find the time to post so much.

Really hope he does well wherever he goes.

This time last year, fans were lauding him for putting in solo training over the summer, not having an agent and for ‘always being better than Sterling’. A few indifferent performances over the course of a season and he’s quickly written off and some even questioning his attitude.

Two interesting offers in Bournemouth and Newcastle (if true) and I think either would be a very good career move for him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Reckon Rafa could be a real positive influence in his career so hope he opts for Toon

**** him off the brainless, gormless, shisha smoking, banana footed donkey. Thank **** he's gone lets have a feast.

Only joking, best of luck to the kid. He done his best here but it wasn't good enough. Great moeny for us, a few quid for him & a chance to push on in his career. All the tools are there but upstairs it remains to be seen whether he can turn into a good footballer.

I like that as a general exhortation. 'Let's have a feast!'

dude i was being sarcastic in my original comment, i should have put it into quotes, i was meant to say how a certain lot were saying stirling should f off blah blah and ibe is a better prospect as such... just the irony of it all and how we tend to shunt down our younglins as quickly as we praise them (mind ya stirling was a greedy f though)... basically along the same lines as RedReet said above...
