Klopps had most of a season to see what players have to offer. Far too many underperforming, mediocre players in the squad. Not enough hunger, not enough talent and we definitely need people with the mental strength to take us forward.

This season is going to be the toughest yet IMO, there's no place for passengers.

No I was happy that Klopp recalled the other players who where out on loan to check them out personally. He now knows more about them & if he doesn't rate them get shot now I think.

Ibe was arguably our best player in pre-season and teh natural replacement for Sterling, so there was no way he was being loaned out. With Klopp only taking control in October and the amount of injuries we were having at times, there was no way we could have loaned him out in January either.

In the history of LFC, only 6 players will have been sold for more than Ibe, if he got sold today. Joint 7th biggest transfer out ever.
