He has and is getting game time though.

Yea I don't get the impatience. He's 19. You are well ahead of the curve of you are a regular bench player at that age.

Imo he can have another two seasons here as a sub/ occasional starter. Few players come back and are immediate starters all the time. If he was 25 or 26 it'd be a different story.

Every squad has its stars, virtual undroppables like coutinho but every good squad also has players like ibe who can come into the team when needed or offer something different from the bench. No shame in such a role at this age. We became very reliant on sterling at such a young age but that's so rare and if we had to do the same with ibe it would really be a sign of a weak squad, which I don't believe LFC has.

Stop beating around the bush Dan. Just say it & Kop the flack as your on your own with wanting to send Ibe out on loan.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Providing Ibe keeps working hard he will get lots of game time. Klopp really rates him.....

Klopp has frequent meetings with his squad before and after matches but there has not been the opportunity to have individual meetings

‘I don’t have time the time yet,’ said Klopp. ‘There are so many other things! Until now, I didn’t speak to all players one on one. I have spoken to some of them, yes. Jordon was one of them, for sure.

'It is always the same when a new manager comes in. The situation is normal. Another person is in and the judgements of the past don’t matter. That is not the only thing. The players have to use this situation.

'But it was not in my office. We don’t have the time. It was on the pitch. There we can talk. You know Jordon is a very skilled guy.

'He is not too bad! It’s not my work that he is the player he is in this moment. But he needs our help and we need him. That is the truth. With his speed, he is very different to most of the players I know. Now he has scored a fantastic goal.'

I think there has been a few factors in the recent down turn of Ibe.
As a team we haven't been playing well and he has been highlighted because of how explosive he came on the scene. He was playing well with Sterling, Suarez and sturridge and had a good understanding with them, recently he was playing with different players and no real goal threat so that must of made him think 'what do I do?'. Plus as he was seen as a threat it was easy to double up on him as marking Origi and other sub par performers (at the time) was not necessary. When he came on the scene suarez sturridge and sterling took all the attention and markers off him and he shone. Now its harder for him as he is now seen as one of our threats.

This in turn I think effected his confidence and made him make bad decisions or hold back. Obviously as other players play well and the threat is spread more across the team or the system however you want to look at it thr better individuals will perform.

Ibe isn't consistent enough to start every game, but he offers something different and he's a great player to have in reserve to play in the cups. Young lads go up & down and you have to know when to play & when to take them out. I think Klopp is doing the right thing with regards Ibe & Origi.

When they come off the bench & perform he rewards them with game time, when they're a bit off key he takes them away from the limelight & the pressure. People should see Ibe as a reserve as opposed to a first team regular, which ideally should be the position all our youngsters adopt.

That way we don't need to play them when they're clearly out of their depth, which was the unfortunate circumstance with Origi when Klopp first came in.
              Forwards.......

Reserve? Squad player presumably you mean? Clearly not a reserve. He has to be every match 18 for me.

Yeah I don't disagree at all mate. I suggested last week maybe a loan move for him to get regular football but thinking about it ... going away from the teachings of Klopp is not a good thing & I would be happy if he gets the Carling/Fa Cup and then subs appearances in the league and europa.

I just think it's vital for him to get as much game time as possible to develop. Seems to have a good relationship with Klopp & hopefully he progresses under him.

I think Ibe has the advantage over many other youngsters of similar ability because he has one attribute that we as a squad seem to lack - pace. I think that that will mean he is quite likely to get minutes from the bench in alot of PL games as he can come on and offer something different and this is useful against tight or tired defences. I think that regardless of who else is on the bench he is always going to be an option to come on.

Often with youngsters you feel that they are on the bench to make up the numbers or will only get a game if someone gets injured or they will be brought on in a game we are crusing in. But Ibe will be a genuine option in most games, so he doesn't need to go on loan to get games. The situation is different for a young defender for example.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Suarez wasn't here mate and Sturridge was injured for most of Ibe's games last year too.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Berg-Hestad is 40. All other midfielders in EL should be ashamed.
