I dont believe he links up well with Clyne. They're always on a different page to each other every game. Though to be fair Clynes final ball, if it isnt going backwards, tends to be rubbish. He cant cross. He pulls one out now and then thats good but majority of them never do anything.

But I don't believe that's anything to do with the contents of his locker. The only person slowing him down is himself. I've seen him for the reserves and he's very fast when he's not over thinking it or as hesitant.
