I can see us going for pace in the wide areas, and actually in every area in the summer as we are such a slow side. IMO Ibe will go further down the pecking order. He is young and needs to develop but the harsh truth is that we do need better at the moment.

Love the guy and am so gutted he hasn't kicked on as expected but you are right here.

he has the pace and power but when he gets to the point when he needs to cross he cuts it back, drags it wide, allows the defender to block him into a corner and it all goes to ****.
any attacker running into the box expecting a first time ball to catch the defence on the hop is almost certainly going to be disappointed.

then lallana is often doing the same...

its no good having pace without knowing what you are going to do when you get there. dont blast 30 yards up the pitch and stretch the opposition defence, then cut it back and allow them time to group up.

kelly was bursting up the left wing and whipping first time balls into the box...

Don't think he'll really make the step up. Just lacks that football brain to go along with the physical traits unfortunately. Makes the wrong decision pretty much every time. His crossing is atrocious too.

A 20 year old kid, playing because of our crippling injury list, and he's a cunt shouldn't ever play for us again

No one can deny he's playing poorly at the moment but the stick he's getting is OTT. "We" have no patience whatsoever with young players these days.

No confidence whatsoever and as a result he's making bad decisions (or no decision at all ) ....needs time out of the team and maybe a loan next season.

Fair comments about him - wouldn't go so far to write him off and I can't see Klopp loaning him out having just brought back all the youth cos he doesn't like loans.

Needs to spark off better players, pure and simple. He'll learn to do the simple things better watching, learning and training with better players around him. He'll still get some game time next season - even with new buys in the summer - I'm sure Klopp has a development plan for him (and every other player he wants to retain).

When you've got Milner, Can and Henderson all mis-firing next to you on the pitch, he's hardly likely to be a game winner on his own and his confidence will undoubtedly suffer as a result. He just needs a bit more time and a couple of new faces around him.

He's always made bad decisions though.

Theres no doubting his talent. He has pace, power and when on form seems to be able to dribble around players for fun. But his end product is just shocking. He generally shoots with all power and no placement and 90% of them go well wide. His crossing is horrendous. Seriously ****.

I hope he comes good, maybe he'll learn in time, but i doubt it. Some of that stuff is just instinct and football smarts. He has neither.

I think a player who has been on the pitch a few times should have more game awareness doing simple things, he just keeps doing the same mistakes over and over again.

Ibe need to start chipping in with goals and assists, we cant afford to keep having midfield players who don't bring any attacking impetus to the team.

You just have to look at younger players than him, not given a fraction of first team chances as he has, who take the games they are given with both hands.

Brandogan, Chirivella, Tex (obviously not younger, but not given anywhere near the same chances), Ojo and to a lesser extent Sinclair.

I don't think a loan will improve him, he needs to get over any confidence crisis this season because a loan will effectively mean he can stay with whatever club he goes to (as we've done with numerous youngsters that failed to make the grade).

He's the one Klopp seems to yell at the most. I dont think hes absorbing tactics or instructions too well. It's one thing to give a player time, and its another to see zero improvement. Not saying get rid of him, but not really enjoying him this season.

The main problem is that he isn't allowed to sit out his bad form because even at 20, he's the most senior player with pace.
