I've got nothing interesting to contribute, but I just wanted to say how sad it makes me to see such a broken manager. You can tell he cares about the job. He seems like a decent person.

I really am getting sick of hearing this. Do you know Rodgers? What makes you think he is a decent person? He always came across to me as egocentric, little self awareness and a complete phony on camera. He dumped Swansea at the first sign of a big club fluttering the eyelashes. I have no doubt he would have dumped us at the first sign of a perceived bigger club calling. He left his wife shortly after getting the job for a younger, hotter model. Agger who I would have lots of time for gave an interview after he left slating Rodgers. Every time he opens his mouth I want to puke. From his new teeth, to his hair and make up I find the man to be completely false and have never identified with him on any kind of human level. He never seems to show himself and always seems to be playing some part when on camera.Originally posted by Marina View PostI've got nothing interesting to contribute, but I just wanted to say how sad it makes me to see such a broken manager. Feel sorry for him? He is a millionaire manager that got promoted to a job he never should have had in the first place. I'm getting a little carried away with personal feelings and conjecture but these posts about him being a decent man that we should all feel sorry for are really beginning to bug me.

I know what you're saying, someone somewhere is going to get it spot on.
But you don't play the lottery with your opinion. This guy called it right, he didn't just start head butting the keyboard like the s-man seems to be doing.Hello mert.

Oh dear. Deleted a post above and the quotes of it
Seriously people, outright personal abuse and / or threats of violence aimed at anyone at the club; players, managers, owners, the tea lady... or other posters come to it, are just not acceptable on this forum and honestly only reflect very poorly on the people who post as such.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Oh, I see... because it's absolutely reasonable to want to vomit every time he says anything and take personal issue with the way he dresses himself. Sure, he has lots of money and he may have some issues with his personal life, but he seems totally lost and it's sad. Especially given how hopeful most people were last season, backing Brendan to the hilt and claiming he'd be the one to bring back the glory days.Originally posted by Saul Goodman View PostI really am getting sick of hearing this. Whatever. The point is, he is human and deserves more respect than has been afforded to him by some. I won't lose any sleep if he's sacked. I was pretty much done after the FA Cup semi. But it's still sad to see how it's all transpired.

I think there are factions, a lunatic fringe if you will. But I'd say mainly everyone is singing from the same songsheet. Speak for yourself about wanting to be a 'United' fanbase thoughOriginally posted by Daniel 7 View PostLook what Brendan has driven us to! We were a united fanbase, now there are schisms! Schisms!

If Rodgers does stay, he needs to refresh his backroom staff.
The whole club top to bottom is inexperienced.
A Paul Clement, dare i say Shteeve McLaren
or even a Phil Thompson could really help. One of the things Fergie did was change his assistant and got some really good success from it.
He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!
