Was a huge goal that against decent opposition. They were under the cosh on times but done very well to get the draw. Don't really get the hatred of Brendan, he talks a bit of **** alright but he seems a decent bloke. I think he'll do well up there, hope he does anyways.

It was a good result. Especially when ya have to field players who shouldnt even be pro's like Efe Ambrose and Scott Brown! Celtic fans are delighted with it.
Astana 3-1 Maribor
Astana 4-3 HJK Helsinki
Astana 1-0 APOEL
Astana 2-2 Galatasaray
Astana 0-0 Atletico Madrid
Astana 2-2 Benfica
Astana 2-1 Zalgiris
Are those results from recent seasons? Some good results there if so.

On another note, I like that Tierney, cant see him lasting long there! Think he recently signed a new deal but wonder how much they'd sell for. Seems to be the profile we are after.

Rodgers might be a chancer BUT drawing away to Astana is a good result, in fairness.

TBF, they were in the CL last year and were unbeaten at home through qualifying and the group stage, even drawing with Atletico.Originally posted by Fivex View PostYou forgot the punchline.
It was a 1-1 draw to 'Astana' whoever they are.
I thought they at least would have won. "Outstanding"?

For Celtic, it probably was a decent result, although obviously not 'outstanding'.

It was an outstanding result," said former Liverpool manager Rodgers.
"We're disappointed with the goal but I think after that we showed wonderful mentality to keep fighting. It's a very important result for us."
