Yep. He's a tinkerer, but he seems to know what he's doing. He trusts the players and they trust him.

Every now and again, it goes wrong, Villa at home for example. But he doesn't hang about with rectifying it.

I did think that it was too big a job for him, that he wasn't experienced enough for us. He's totally proven me wrong and I couldn't be happier to admit it. He's a complete contrast to Hodgson and he'll be here for years to come. Rodgers seems perfect for us.

It's been said before, but with Brendan, you get that feeling that he is 'it'. He knows how we think, how we strive to be as a club. He gets us.

It's incredible to think that we finished 7th last season, and today's team only had one new signing in the starting XI in Simon Mignolet. We're now second. Remarkable stuff.
