Player in preferring current manager shocker

Its odd though, that GJ has played some of his worse football for us under Rodgers. But under Dalglish and even Bronto he was decent.
    *Except Michael, who died.

It's mad really. The way we play now suits him down to the ground yet he struggles. I think a large part of it may be down to injury. I'm hoping with the run of games we've got left he finds his best form again. An on form Glen Johnson is a major asset.

        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Thought he was very good last year under Rodgers, so I don't think he's struggling at all.
          Are we winning?

I thought he improved against Southampton.

Nearly. It's player that wants new contract in saying he loves the current manager shocker

It's no real surprise from GJ, I think it's wanting the new contract for the obvious financial benefits that come with it but I also can't imagine too many players in our squad wanting to leave at the moment. We play great football and are seemingly going places again and being part of something like that must be an exciting prospect for a footballer.

Without being too cynical, I wonder if he's being lined up to be shipped out. I bet he's happy to take that pay cut now but his countless injuries and re-introductions into the team are just getting in the way of developing our full back play (as well as a settled back four).

Said it before and watching that video made me think it again. We are so much stronger because we no longer rely on one or two players. Previous managers have made the mistake of building play around individuals and, although it can work, it also makes us easier to break down and plan against. Brendan has most of the team performing and it makes us so much harder to plan against.

                                He's brilliant
