Why is it okay to blame Gerrard? Poor ******* fell over.
We should blame each individual for not being able to break them down. Suarez for not scoring in the last minute, Aspas for the corner, Sturridge for the pass that saw Torres get in, Skrtel or Sahko behind Gerrard etc, etc, etc.
We lost out first game in 12, I really don't think anyone is to blame, we just couldn't break them down. On another day one of our shots would have sailed in, it's just football.
Blame the whole team for losing the patience and picking the wrong option time and again throughout the game.Thats all you can blame though,I'm sure the manager preached patience but the players didn't go that way, understandable and they'll learn from it,one of many lessons the young team will have learned this season.Luckily they'll face exactly the same thing on Monday so they can show what they learned.
It's funny but the goals we conceded when winning games comfortably this season may now very well bite us on the arse.

He fell over after he displayed the ball control of a schoolboy. I still don't really blame him though, it was just really bad luck. Like Toure had against Fulham.
Or just blame no-one. We were neutralized by absolute ****house tactics stolen from fat Sam and had a moment of bad luck.
Simples innit.
You can't win every bloody match.
We didn't have to win it, Chelsea did. We played for the win, Chelsea played for the draw.
Looks like I'm on my own here but Brendan got it wrong. I'm sad for him, I love him and he's missed his opportunity to become a instant legend.
How can someone not be critical whilst maintaining their full support? He has my full support, I want him here for 10 years. I love his football and he's made us proud.
Can't believe some of the rubbish being said about our approach vs Chelsea. The first goal was down to a mistake that happened completely unrelated to whether we were playing for a draw or a win. We could have been playing for a draw and made the same mistake, putting ourselves in a situation where we had to attack them. So it wasn't, even with benefit of hindsight, the best plan was it? Plus have we proven ourselves adept at playing in that style? Of course not, we don't have it in our armoury, we're cack at it.
We played the way that suited us, they played the way that suited them. They cheated to disrupt us nearly entirely without punishment and they got lucky. We need to get over this desire to blame and look forward.

You're the only one because you're wrong and harsh on Rodgers. We were never gung Ho until we made that mistake and had to chase the game. If we'd set out stall for the draw and committed a mistake and lost, it would have been seen as the wrong tactics in the same way.
