The one word I keep seeing here is impressive.

        The man is impressive.

We are all so impressed by his impressivity.

Has to be the most impressive showing of impressivity that I have ever been impressed by.

        IMPRESSIVE!!

Rodgers has "sacked" Clarke according to this. Surely he can't go round sacking folk

One of Rodgers' first moves this morning was to sack Mourinho’s former No 2, Liverpool coach Steve Clarke.

Clarke was immediately linked with the vacant manager’s job at Norwich City and a return to Champions League winners Chelsea.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

            Lavezzi and Cavani

            Goetze

            Giroud

Sven Bender as another holding midfielder would be a good addition imo.

            Draxler
Some top names on that list, IMO the competition for each of those will be too much for LFC currently. I'd also be surprised if Schurrle,Bender & especially Draxler moved at this point. Personally i
think we're going to have to think outside the box and try go after quality that is lesser known. Rogers & the scouts have lot of work to do.

We have a chance if we sell ourselves well to the players.

Will be interesting to see if our defence gets worse without Clarke at the club.

True but i suppose really depends on the aspirations of the player in question and if they want to sacrifice champs league football to be part of something new and a project so to speak, which takes time and patience and we don't see much of that from footballers these days.

Players like Cavani(25), Lavezzi(27) surely are at an age where they want to win things and no be apart of a team in transition. The German players you mentioned, don't get me wrong outstanding talents but will coveted by most of the clubs in Europe. Gotze is a special talent & others look very promising too, Martinez looks a excellent. I just don't fancy our chances without Champs League football to land these players, especially if City,United,Chelsea,Arsenal,Munich,Real & Barca come into the mix. IMO it would actually be a real shame for Dortmund top players to leave at this point as they are the best team in Germany, are in the champs league, have a fantastic manager & bags of talented youngsters.

I have no problem in LFC going for lower profile talent, once the quality is there. IMO alot of the top talent wouldn't even consider us in our current situation.

P.S. If we landed any of the players you mentioned i'd be over the moon.

But we have Carol and really need to back him after his improvements late in the season.

We need a winger and a creative #10 badly
He loves a bit of pace wide and we are crying out for that
