ah come on now i was hardly having a go. Merely pointing out that your comments about torres are are far worse than most and it could be argued that torres meant more to lfc fans than 100 meireles and maxis.

I think the rat and vole comments originated from the in-jokes in the Suarez thread. It's a sarcastic way of looking at how a player can be adulated one week, and called a erm, rat, the next week.

Fulham fans sang 'he looks like a rat, he looks like a raaaaaaa-a-at' in his first season here and long before the racist incident. I remember it sang and thought it was funny back then. The amount of **** that opponent players and managers get for physical attributes (Steve Bruce and Sam Allardyce in particular) makes us a bit hypocritical if we can't see the funny side when our opponents target our players in the same way.
