I've had second thoughts on this one - Uruguay's games are Friday and Tuesday, so he will be back in Liverpool by Wednesday - gives him around 72 hours before the manc game.

They are playing Paraguay away and he has 19 hours grueling trip back to Liverpool so he may not be come until late Wednesday or early Thursday, which would mean that he may need to skip the last training session on Friday to recuperate. I think Kenny will ease him back rather that throw him in as he did against Sunderland, where he faded badly in the second half.

I think it's 13.5 hours flying time from Paraguay to Liverpool and we are 4 hours ahead of them.

So for argument's sake, if he flew back at 6am on the Wednesday, he would arrive back in Liverpool at 11:30pm on Wednesday.

Where's the problem?

Me too. He may not last all 90 minutes but imo he will start.

We need a game changer and with Luis being more likely to be on the bench from the onset Stevie should start.

Seems that Suarez (and Coates/Lucas) wont be back until Thursday afternoon:

if thats the case with Luis he's surely got to start from the bench, got to be Stevie playing off Carroll hasn't it? I suppose Dirk up top with him is an option as well (prefer him starting on the right though)
