He'd be wasted up there. No. 8 role in Klopp's favoured 433 and he'd be untouchable. If we had a prime Gerrard in this team, we'd make City look ordinary.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostNot all that impressive considering the teams he played for..
But it’s safe to say he was a phenomenon.
Wonder how he would have faired in Klopps teams.. I think he might have ended up as one of the front 3. Pace, power, passing and shooting - could have scored bundles. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

should be good.
I watched bits of that Man City show on Amazon and thought it was good. Pep is a ****in class act.
Just such a pity Stevie G didn't win the league with us back in that Suarez season. Would have been amazing. I was full sure we were going to ****in do it. Still gutted.
I wonder will Stevie manage LFC? Obviously that is his aim now and you wouldn't put it past him doing it. He possibly needs another job after Rangers first - and for the circumstances to be spot on as well. I don't think Gerrard as a manager of another premier league club would necessarily help him though. Perhaps the next step would be to take a team from Championship into the Premier League.
When I first heard he was going to be a manager i thought it was a bad move. But with the correct coaching team around him, then he could be a good manager.

It terrifies me to think about not having Jurgen. He is one of the best motivators, tacticians and man managers I have ever witnessed.
Plays the press like a fiddle, and does it all with a smile on his face.
Stevie is a rank amateur and his place in football management long term is by no means cemented. He is also a miserable *******.Modifying post.
