    What do they mean?
    Was muß, das muß.

It means that they couldn't play together in the golden generation midfield.

Regardless of this seasons form the worrying issue is we haven't replaced the king.

I felt the same when Carragher retired, there was no natural replacement, a defender with the heart of a lion and a leader of men.

Rodgers needs to buy some exceptional talent this summer unless it's lurking in the reserves/academy

A top draw CB, DM and Striker must be his aim at any cost or it's mid table mediocrity for us.

I think we might have that player and then some in Sakho. He looks to have all the tools, physically and mentally, to be a leader at the back. Have a feeling that once he is fully comfortable with the language and able to communicate as he would like that we will see him dictate to the players around him more often.

Carragher did not move to CB full time and start developing into a leader in the heart of the back line until he was 26 so unless we are going to go out and buy a centre back who is an established leader at the back (and not one like Lovern that has never really done that in the past to any great degree), then we are going to have to hope that someone like Sakho steps up to become a leader at the back in the next season or so.

Yep, kind of agree on Sakho.

His off the field stuff is brilliant too. Dont see many of the overseas players going to the local homeless charity and helping out with painting.

Didn't Ryan Babel get involved with stuff off the field as well? Seem to recall him visiting schools and other places on a regular basis and getting involved in activities at those places.

Don't know about Babel but Kuyt seemed to do a hell of a lot for charities/good causes.

                I miss Dirky

What a strike that was. He was unstoppable that year. The greatest ever.

He was wasn't he. He rescued in game after game for a spell. He was truly superhuman for a while that season.
