Crazy but I genuinely love the guy. Going to cry when he leaves, I just know it.

If it makes you feel any better, I doubt Gerrard knows who you are or gives a rat's arse about your feelings.

That's cool. There are many thousands like me and he knows and feels the love for sure.

His last game at Anfield is going to be really sad. I remember being taken aback by how choked I was for Carra's. This is going to be worse.

Such a shame his level has dipped so much and so suddenly, though it obviously won't taint his legacy. And I hate to say it but, outside of us, he will always be remembered for the slip. It's ****.

I don't think I will be anywhere near as bothered by Gerrard leaving as I was Sami. Seems weird but I have never been as taken with him as other players. That's not to say I haven't appreciated how great a player he was, I have. I just won't miss the Steven Gerrard media circus . I'm looking forward to a team rather than a team with Steven Gerrard.

So am I and I won't miss the circus either. It's time. But I can be quite prone to nostalgia and whimsy... ...so I'll be reminiscing and thinking about the passage of time (again), his career etc.

If we're honest, we said goodbye to Steven Gerrard the phenomenon a few years ago. It is time now, we've had a long period where he's been a fraction of what he was. For me, he was gone already.

He was fantastic last season mind. He'd have still done that role this year as well, had we actually bought a proper striker so the team could press. But it's true that judging him solely on his current level of ability, he's not difficult to replace.
                  Forwards.......

Yep big Sami was always my fave. Genuinely choked up and fought of a tear or two when he played that last game. I don't think it'll be the same with Stevie for me. Ive just never felt the same about him after the flirting with Chelsea

Sounds like he's being put down
