But with Carra gone and now Stevie, that's is 2 massive parts of what Liverpool the club is all about, gone.
More reason for someone else to come through now. Stevie even said it himself in that press conference that some young talent will come through, they always do but it would be wonderful if it was a scouser.

They'd be like Joachim Low and his assistant, wearing the same suits, same jumpers and same shirts ha ha!

Yeah i know, scousers will come through of course, but i doubt very very much if any will be anywhere near his class, consistency, and loyalty, because players like Gerrard have been few and far between at LFC over the last 20yrs.

There hasn't been a player like Gerrard anywhere, LFC or not

Fair point. You'll get no argument from me on that score.

It's a bit sad actually, seeing Gerrard leave; still having to plead for the club to invest in players.

The saddest thing for me is the cunts Moores and Parry sold the family silver to those ****ing Cowboys. If they had done their due diligence Stevie would have been the Captain in a world class Liverpool team in a new Anfield stadium that would have been the envy of the PL, winning titles every season. I may be dreaming, but that is the dream vision this guy deserved and the club failed him, it really did.

Still, what a man, amazing loyalty and talent beyond words. The ultimate player, the reference point for any scouser, actually anyone, trying to make it.

Cannot wait to see him back in some capacity, but the shambolic way this club is run it would not surprise me to see him at another PL club in the future.
