Why put £100m into Rangers when they have redeveloping kirkby, expanding ARE and should be giving that £100m to Klopp?

I saw on the Scottish news Rangers fans being interviewed and most of them were talking about winning the league and overhauling Celtic. Obviously a small (but perhaps vocal) section of their support suggesting that expectations are high and perhaps unrealistic at least in the short term.

Good luck Stevie (and Gary Mac)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I wish him well. I just don't think he'll be a very good manager. He's quite boring to listen to, I can't see him inspiring people in the way klopp does. Perhaps boring is harsh, non charismatic is better. Mind you since he's still young he'll probably inspire because he's Steven Gerrard, especially the young players. Be interesting to see how he does up there and ultimately in England.

He's gutted the academy staff according to the latest rumours

He's taken U18s coach, U18s assistant, academy technical director

Big rebuilding job for the club especially as we haven't replaced Ljinders and Buvac

Buvac hasn't technically left the club though.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Wilson too good for Scotland IMO. Would only make sense if we were looking to flog him afterwards (which we could well do).

Kent on the other hand could do with a loan move that works out.

I don't think owning Glasgow Rangers would go down too well with most fans of the Boston Red Sox.

Always thought Rangers were the Everton of Scotish football. Can't say I'll be wishing him any luck, horrible club, horrible fans. Meh.

Rangers are the (or were the) Man Utd of Scottish football.

They were the institution. They got all the decisions going for them, hoovered up all the talent from the opposition. Arrogance, entitlement you name it. I used to have a Hearts season ticket, and (this is just off the top of my head but it happened countless times) mid season Hearts had a forward who was scoring loads of Goals, Velicka - Rangers put in a bid for him that couldn’t be turned down mid season but had a squad so strong he barely kicked a ball for them.

We talk about referring in the PL imagine the pressure on refs in the SPL.

The difference is they then had the fall from grace.

They effectively ruined a decade of Scottish Football, and though that doesn’t mean much to most people on here who use Scottish Football as the but of their jokes it did to many loyal supporters up here. They were cheating for over ten years. Atttacting players they couldn’t afford to pay, but using an illegal tax scheme to circumvent it. It wasn’t financial doping, it was illegal and they went bust because of it. They should have to hand back every title from that period.

And then there is their supporters....
