Pep seems very knowledgeable and a really likeable guy but he always mentions that he and the other underlings job is to provide info to klopp.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI don’t like thinking about it, but based on that interview (the Athletic, not Stevie and Carra) it’s hard to imagine Pep Ljonders isn’t in poll position.
I can see Klopp staying with us for a long time now though.
Who knows.
He acknowledges that klopp is the man manager and motivation for the team, and maybe for all peps talents he isnt the driving force we need at the helm.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Yup and the other tidbit was that he left for NEC because of his ambition. I'm pretty sure Pep would acknowledge he isn't anywhere near ready at the moment but may be in future.Originally posted by baitman View PostPep seems very knowledgeable and a really likeable guy but he always mentions that he and the other underlings job is to provide info to klopp.

What Lecter said is also a possibility. Gerrard to come in with Pep given more responsibility. That I could live with. Clearly coaching is a team game now.

SG or no SG, Klopp is going to be a massive act to follow and my biggest fear is that we fall away again like we did through the 90's.
Ok maybe not quite to the same extent because FSG are much more savvy custodians than Moores and Parry but Klopp's eventual departure is going to leave some hole to fill.

To be honest, even though it's definitely my dream to see SG back at Anfield, I would be absolutely TERRIFIED of his possible failure lol. Not sure I'm ready for something like this. His last season for us was a nightmare for me personally because I wanted him to do well so much I couldn't focus on anything else. So yeah, one day hopefully he'll return, but not soon, I need at least 4 more years of Klopp just to be able simply to enjoy football and sleep well haha

So who's managing Leicester right now?Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI really don't see why they would want to appoint him. He can get all of the Scottish League and Europa League group stage experience he likes, but that's not enough to get a top 6 job in the PL, unless it's with us.Was muß, das muß.
