No need to be like that, I'm just trying to get the thread back on track.

It's quite chucklesome - they've been pining for Di Matteo to come back, a man who never should have got the job in the first place but had to be appointed after fluking his way to the sodding Champion's League and yet it's his fault that they didn't get out of their group despite having a group that they really should have won or at the very least come second in.

We all know that if Guardiola or Mourinho came strolling down Kings Road, cock in hand and gave every Chelsea fan a facial, there wouldn't even be a thought about Di Matteo.

                        They are hypocrites.

If any of you listened to Guillem Balague on The Anfield Wrap a few weeks ago, he said that even Abramovich had to be convinced about Rafa, and that he was advised by some very powerful people in football to take him. Whether that is true or just a bit of propaganda from his old bud I don't know, but it does show that even Chelsea's board weren't entirely convinced at first.

And they don't have the balls to raise their voice against the person who actually has made all the decisions.

He won them the Champions League though, we can't just discount that however fortuitous it was. We know how good it felt to win it. It was a huge part of why we still remain as fond of Rafa as we do now. I'm not justifying their stupidity, and certainly not some of their behaviour, but I think it's an important factor.

They can't - if they even dare to complain about him, they look like the inbred ******s everyone already thinks they are.

You can't allow your team to be taken over and have hundreds of millions pumped in and then complain when the owner wants control. It's his right seeing as he basically created your team from ****ing scratch.

That's why I have NEVER wanted that, we've had our problems but limitless money would have made it worse rather than better. I want a self-sufficient club with owners who will stump up a few million if we're a bit light. We want a £10M player but only have £5M - they make up the difference because Rodgers makes it clear how important that player is.

Have to admit I fail to see the sense in that.

If we had a benefactor like they do, it would be a totally different scenario given the history and status of Liverpool FC in English football.
