Agree, it'll be difficult, but I'd take a perverse pleasure in those morons having a Benitez epiphany.
    Yeah I saw that.
    Oh I don't know.

I love Rafa, but I really fear he's made another poor career choice with this. Hiding to nothing.

All said and done it shows that the real football decision makers do still rate Rafa. They could easily have got someone else to take over from Di Matteo but went and got Rafa. So his stock is still quite high.

I dont really think rafa will give a **** about the fans made up **** or the media as he knows they dont like him. i suspect chelski is a good stepping stone for him to get back into the frame for something like the RM job when maureen leaves.

Well I'm pretty sure Abramovich has got sound advisers. I don't understand their obsession with Guardiola though. He just does not fit their ethos at all.
              Are we winning?

                This makes complete sense.

But, if he gets the Chavs flying, and Torres scoring, it could be that he will be offered the job permanently and decides to stay.

I think that's exactly why they want him. To bring in a new ethos to the club.

Apparently Rafa told Abramovich that Torres has a degenerative knee problem, therefore can't run as quick as he used to. Weird that no one seemed to know how to use Torres correctly with that in mind. Maybe he's impressed Abramovich with his attention to detail.

I think Abramovich must have had a few that night, drowning his sorrows over his £50m investment.

Isn't Zenden an ex Chelsea player though?

Yes. He was with Chelsea for three seasons, and us for two. He played twice as often for Chelsea as he ever did for us.

The amount of people laughing in my office as they find it generally funny he has been made manager of Chelsea.

They also seem to think I'm crazy when I said he very nearly won us the league and for a time made us the best team in Europe.

Did the press do that much of a job on this guy that people just blindly followed them rather than looking at the facts? It's mind boggling.

Yes, that's exactly what they did.
